Melt margarine in frying pan. Cut meat into thin strips (approximately one inch). Put flour into a baggie, add meat and shake well to coat all pieces. Place in colander to shake off excess flour and brown in melted margarine. Add paprika and garlic powder stirring until browned. In a cup, add tomato paste, Worchestershire sauce and powdered mustard. Stir and add to meat. Add ½ of the Sprite, stir, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add sour cream and if too thick, add a lttle more Sprite. Cook noodles according to package and drain. Put back into pan and add the meat mixture and stir well, adding more Sprite if necessary. This can be made ahead of time and warmed up, adding a little more Sprite if too thick. (serves 6) Submitted by Dorothy Kraus of Hagerstown |
