2 sides spare ribs 2 Tbs. brown sugar 2 Tbs. corn starch ½ tsp. salt |
¼ cup vinegar ½ cup catsup 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 Tbs. soy sauce | |||

Have Penn Ave. Meats cut ribs into serving pieces. Combine sugar, corn starch and salt; and stir in vinegar, catsup, crushed pineapple and juice and soy sauce. Cook until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes) stirring constantly. Arrange layer of spareribs in roasting pan. Cover with part of pineapple mixture; add another layer of ribs and top with rest of sauce. Cover pan tightly and bake at 350°F about 1½ to 2 hours. Serves 4 | ||||
